arrakis studio is a small but perfectly formed production suite, based in the Highlands of Scotland.

Whilst several other studios in the area target big production (and big cost) work, arrakis studio continues to provide a tailored one-to-one service for local singers/songwriters, bands and film directors. Our facilitiy isn't the biggest... in fact it could hold the record for being the smallest... but we pride ourselves on delivering a high quality sound and product, specifically meeting clients' requirements time and time again.

Our motto for recording is simple - "It's not about the money, it's about the music"

02/09/06 - The new version of the arrakis-studio.com site goes live today. It's been a fair amount of work (rightly so) but I think it's paid off - it feels a bit more professional.

01/08/06 - An initial holding page for the Highland Legends website is now up - www.highlandlegends.co.uk

08/03/06 - ' Highland Legends' - a video project featuring legends and fables from the Inverness area. This project is due for completion early 2007, in time for the Inverness Year of Culture. The majority of the music for the project (both DVD and soundtrack CD) will be sourced from Arrakis. Several tracks are complete (excluding final mix)... clips may follow.
